Short Biography

I was born in Michigan but spent most of my early childhood in Indonesia (my father’s Indonesian, mother from the US.) My parents separated when I was 6 and afterwards I went back to live in America. The rest of my childhood was spent moving from place to place and experiencing many different kinds of poverty. We finally moved to Alaska when I was 15 and I left the household not long afterwards.

Around this time I met my (amazing, beautiful) wife Jennifer and we have been together ever since. We’ve been happily married for over eleven years now. My home is in Anchorage, Alaska where I like to spend time outdoors hiking/camping/biking in the summer and retreat behind the computer in the winter. Jennifer and I like to travel as much as possible and we recently visited Jakarta, Indonesia.

What does the future hold? Kids, travel, creativity.
